About
The QubeFlex™ software-defined modem is engineered for the low-earth orbit CubeSat and smallsat markets, providing a professional off-the-shelf solution for commercial applications demanding fast time to market and reliable communications. As part of an end-to-end communication solution, it supports Intelsat, CCSDS telemetry, and other common space transmission and packet standards. Forward error correction is integrated to protect data against transmission loss, while high data rates ensure maximum data reception during each satellite pass. The QubeFlex™ demodulator is capable of acquiring and maintaining lock on signals even with large Doppler frequency shifts characteristic of fast-moving low-earth orbit satellites. The demodulator output is formatted for convenient onward computer processing and storage. The QubeFlex™ is a highly flexible and configurable platform, allowing users to select and pay only for the functionality they require. Optional features include extended data rates up to 60Mbps, various terrestrial interfaces (Serial EIA-530, high-speed LVDS serial), extended Doppler limits, extended carrier roll-offs, and a DC input option.
