About
The Owl 640 M is a compact, low-power, cost-effective variant within Raptor Photonics’ Owl 640 camera family. It is a TEC-less (thermoelectric cooler-less) version of the successful Owl 640, giving it the lowest power consumption of any Owl 640 variant at under 2.5W. This reduced Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) design makes it well suited for integration into small OEM instruments and machine vision scientific platforms. Its key feature is TEC-less Visible-SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) imaging technology, enabling low-power SWIR sensing without active thermoelectric cooling, which simplifies integration and reduces the overall system power budget and footprint compared to other Owl 640 variants.
