The ASTROFEIN RW35 is a small-satellite reaction wheel featuring integrated wheel drive electronics with latch-up protection. It offers multiple operation modes for speed and acceleration control using model-based controllers, high torque and speed stability with low noise, extensive housekeeping telemetry, and internal compensation of friction and time delays. Precision mechanical design and balancing minimize emitted vibrations. With a design lifetime of 5 years and RS-422 (RS-485 optional) data interface, the RW35 targets small satellite missions requiring reliable, compact attitude control actuation under 0.5 kg.
