About
Vast Satellite is a new product line of high-power satellite buses, with the first offering being a 15 kW-class satellite bus. These platforms are built for power-intensive missions and offer flexible configurations. The design leverages technologies developed for Vast’s Haven-1 space station and validated through the successful Haven Demo mission in 2025, ensuring a shared architecture. This approach, combined with Vast’s vertically integrated manufacturing model and advanced production capabilities, aims for faster development timelines, lower costs, and increased mission reliability. The satellite bus is designed to support a wide array of missions including communications, Earth observation, national security, and orbital data centers. It features common in-house subsystems for avionics, power, communications, propulsion, and flight software. Vast has already secured its first sale for four satellites, with an option for up to 200 additional units.
