About
The MultiScape100 is an Earth Observation camera specifically designed for space applications, offering high-resolution imaging within a compact 1.5U volume. It features 8 spectral bands in the Visible and Near-Infrared (VNIR) range, including one Panchromatic band and seven VNIR bands from 450 nm to 900 nm. The camera utilizes a pushbroom configuration with a CMOS global shutter sensor, providing 4096 pixels across track with a 5.5 µm pixel size and 12-bit pixel depth. A key feature is its digital TDI (Time Delay Integration) capabilities, allowing for 1 to 32 stages per band, which can be set individually. The system also supports image reduction through RAW data binning and optional CCSDS 122.0-B-2 Lossy/Lossless compression, as well as thumbnailing for image preview. It offers flexible control interface options including I²C, SPI, RS-422, and SpaceWire (ECSS-E-ST-50-12C), and data interface options such as LVDS and SpaceWire (ECSS-E-ST-50-12C). The MultiScape100 operates on a 5VDC power supply, consuming 3.25 W in idle mode and 7.00 W in imaging mode. It is designed to be fully functional up to 15 kRad radiation exposure and operates within a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C. Its compact size and robust design make it suitable for various Earth observation missions.
