About
The TriScape100 is an Earth Observation camera engineered for situational and change monitoring applications, capable of operating in both snapshot and video modes. It provides rapid and reliable insights, making it suitable for scenarios where timely information is critical. Key features include a 4.75 m Ground Sample Distance (GSD) at 500 km altitude, a 19.4 km swath, and a 12.6 MP resolution. The camera is designed to fit within a 1.5U form factor and operates in the 450–670 nm spectral range, with 1080p30 video capabilities. It utilizes a CMOS global shutter sensor technology with a resolution of 4096 x 3072 pixels and a pixel size of 5.5 µm, capturing images with a 10-bit pixel depth. The spectral filter is an RGB Bayer Pattern with an NIR cut-off. Image reduction options include binning of RAW data and optional CCSDS 122.0-B-2 Lossy/Lossless compression. It also supports thumbnailing for image preview and optional H.264 1080p30 video encoding. Control interface options include I²C, SPI, RS-422, and SpaceWire (ECSS-E-ST-50-12C), while data interface options are LVDS and SpaceWire (ECSS-E-ST-50-12C). The camera operates on a 5VDC (±5%) power supply and is radiation-hardened to 15 kRad.
