Autofly is GMV’s automation engine capable of running satellite and ground procedures written in Python/SPELL both in assisted and fully automatic modes.

About

Autofly is GMV’s automation engine designed for satellite and ground procedure automation. It supports procedures written in Python/SPELL and can operate in both assisted and fully automatic modes. First operational in 2004 for the LEOP of the Eutelsat W3A satellite, Autofly has since guided approximately 150 satellites, including fleets from Eutelsat, Arabsat, Hispasat, StarOne, SES, Turksat, Measat, and OneWeb. GMV is recognized as a global leader in providing satellite control centers for telecommunications operators, with Autofly supporting 40% of commercial COMSATs launched in the past 10 years. Key features include complete automation of satellite and ground procedures, processing power driven by SPELL and Python, and an integrated development environment (IDE) within Autofly powered by Eclipse. A debug mode with code, tab, and flowchart views is also under development.
