OST Suite

The OST Suite is a web-based software suite designed to offer continuous 24/7 support for mission-critical operations in space. It has provided support to significant missions such as Columbus and ATV at the DLR German Space Operations Center (GSOC). This suite is adaptable for manned space flights and satellite operations across various mission types, catering to different teams located at multiple sites and diverse user groups, from operators to managers. It is fully customizable to meet each client’s specific needs, ensuring 100% of operations are tested.

The operation support tools (OST) safely simplify communications between different teams with user roles in critical operations, active 24/7. These tools are designed to assist in operational preparation, real-time operations, and post-mission evaluation. Operators, planners, engineers, and managers can collaborate effectively, handling tasks such as monitoring, activity scheduling, incident detection, resource planning, problem resolution, reports, approvals, and coordination. The OST family comprises platform-independent, modular, and scalable tools controlled by LDAP, supporting all phases of a mission. It includes operational tools for problem tracking, flight notes, console logs, report creation and recognition, scheduling, planning, document management, and configuration.
