Tactical Gateways
Viasat's Tactical Gateways provide rapidly-deployable communications for land, air, and sea missions, bridging disparate systems for clear, interoperable communications in multi-domain battlespaces.
About
With over 20 years of providing gateway capabilities to global military forces, Viasat has leveraged its tactical data links expertise with the development of the Move Out/Jump Off (MOJO) Expeditionary Tactical Gateway. This complete line-of-sight and beyond communications system is designed for on-the-move and on-the-pause missions in a multi-domain battlespace. Tactical gateways bridge the gap between disparate systems and seamlessly translate multiple waveforms and networks into clear, interoperable communications. For remote locations where network extensions are crucial for executing the mission, our tactical gateways provide built-in resiliency and redundancy capabilities that are ideal for PACE (Primary, Alternate, Contingency, and Emergency) planning. With one system, Team-through-Corps communications are easily executed, avoiding the logistics and cost of transporting, installing and maintaining traditional gateway infrastructure. Communications are set up much faster in a reduced footprint, ensuring mission readiness anywhere, anytime, with fewer personnel.
