RW1 Reaction Wheel

The ASTROFEIN RW1 is a miniature reaction wheel designed for CubeSats and small satellites requiring compact attitude control actuators. It uses separate wheel drive electronics (WDE) capable of driving up to four reaction wheels, with a PI controller for speed and acceleration control and four selectable standard data interfaces. The mechanical design and precision balancing minimize emitted vibrations, making the RW1 suitable for imaging and other vibration-sensitive small-satellite missions. The RW1 is available in two configurations (Type A and Type B) offering different rotating masses and corresponding torque/momentum trade-offs to match mission requirements.
