About
The ASTROFEIN RW3000 is a reaction wheel under development providing 50.0 Nms of angular momentum at nominal speed, aimed at larger satellite buses. It offers a maximum commandable reaction torque of 0.2 Nm, weighs up to 9.0 kg within a 370 x 370 x 120 mm envelope, and communicates via CAN/RS485. Like other members of ASTROFEIN’s high-capacity wheel family, the RW3000 targets a design lifetime exceeding 15.5 years.
